The Vomela Companies are proud to have taken part in a graphics project that earned a first-place finish in Commercial Carrier Journal’s Flashiest Fleet contest. The Vomela Transportation Group provided printing and fleet wrap services for our client Dart Transit, who accepted the award in December of 2016. The graphics, designed by The Johnson Group, were unveiled at an event last Veterans Day. They feature silhouetted soldiers and the raising the American flag at Iwo Jima, along with the messaging, “Freedom is fragile. Thank you to all who protect it.” The three trucks will be leased to owner-operators chosen from a pool of retired or active military members and will appear in special events and convoys, including Wreaths Across America.
“[Vomela Transportation Group] printed the graphics, and then we installed on-site in Eagan, Minnesota,” Seliga said. On-site installation is standard practice for most fleet wrap projects, and this one was no different. Other duties included pre-press design, price quoting, material selection, and a handful of customer engagement practices that come standard when working with The Vomela Companies. When it comes to any job, and this one especially, TVC believes that finding a printer who can guarantee quality should always take precedence over simply finding the lowest bidder. As you can see, the results are breathtaking.
While cab and trailer space is often used for advertising and marketing purposes, The Vomela Companies are proud to be involved in an award-winning project that does such a great job of honoring the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces.
