Superior Takes on High-Profile Project for Motor Coach Operator MTR Western

GO MANU! When English premier league football club Manchester United (MANU) was scheduled to arrive in Seattle for its pre-season U.S. tour, MTR Western needed motor coach graphics printed and installed—very quickly—on two of its coaches.

The Vomela Companies affiliate, Superior Imaging, does fleet and motor coach graphics for many professional and collegiate sports teams in the Northwest (Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders, Washington Huskies), and based on MTR’s existing relationship with the company, it asked Superior Imaging to take on the job.

After final approvals, Superior Imaging completed the project in just four days. Beginning on a Thursday, it turned around the motor coach graphics by Saturday and completed installs by Sunday— just in time for the MANU team’s arrival in Seattle on Monday.

Wrapped and ready, the MTR motor coaches picked up the players from the airport and transported them around Seattle for the kickoff of their U.S. tour. “The motor coaches looked great and were a huge hit with the customer, who couldn’t thank us enough for pulling this off with such a small turnaround time,” said Superior Imaging Operations Manager Peter Ouzman. “The fans also enjoyed the graphics—a little too much. I was told by MTR that security had to stop fans trying to peel graphics off to keep for souvenirs!”
