# The Vomela Companies' Commitment to Service

At The Vomela Companies, we enjoy more than 70 years of continued growth, and we feel a responsibility to take care of the people, customers, and communities who have made us what we are today.
We've always believed in employee service volunteering, and now we are reinforcing our commitment to local community service initiatives. We're formalizing this commitment to Service by empowering locations around the country to serve their communities in a way that can be recognized, rewarded, trained, and measured.
This commitment to Service joins our core CARE values of Commitment, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence to form our newest CARES evolution.
Here's what it boils down to:
**At The Vomela Companies, we are passionate about transforming possibilities into actions that inspire and unite our customers, employees, and communities.**
To celebrate our formalized commitment to service, 20 sites around the Vomela network participated in events to benefit their local communities. Service events included food packing, collecting school supplies, stuffing backpacks with helpful items, sorting donations, serving the homeless, and cleaning up local trails. This resulted in:
