Vomela Announces Another Year Receiving G7 Master Qualification

Providing consistent, reliable colors for specialty graphics printing is an undeniably complex process. Certain colors – grays and tans for example – can contain such slight variations in tone that consistency is a mind-boggling challenge for many print providers. Because of this, it is imperative for companies in the graphics and printing industry to make sure they’re doing everything they can to maintain color consistency.

At The Vomela Companies, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide print perfect colors for everything we create, from murals to window graphics and beyond. That’s why we’re happy to announce that we’ve been renewed for the G7 Master Qualification for the 10th consecutive year.

What is the G7 Master Qualification?

We'll let Idealliance introduce you to the qualification themselves with a message from their website:

"G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. Earn G7 Master Qualification to demonstrate your facility’s leading capabilities in color management, device alignment, and standardization to serve the global print and packaging supply chains. G7 Master Qualification is granted to a physical facility."

How do you earn the qualification?

In order to earn the qualification, we had to have a G7 Expert consultant qualify our proofing and printing systems. They visited our printing facility and made sure that we were able to meet a series of specific requirements. We had to show our ability to print the neutral tone ramp well and keep close matches in balance, tonality, and appearance for gray tones. Test prints were conducted and analyzed in turn by the consultant to make sure they lined up with existing G7 parameters.

The most challenging part of the process is making sure multiple printers are printing consistently over time. Maintaining this sort of alignment is not an easy feat – but if you take your business and customer's needs seriously, it's absolutely necessary.

What does this qualification mean for Vomela and its customers?

It means that we're as well suited as ever to meet your specific printing needs. It means that we've been independently reviewed and proven to be capable of consistent color for all our printed graphics. If you want to make sure all the window graphics for your school use the same exact team colors, we can meet your needs. If you want to add a striking white-and-gray door graphic to add modern aesthetic to your store front, we can handle it, all while keeping those neutral tones looking crisp.

Now, and always, if you need help finding the best (and most consistently colored) specialty graphics for your business, all you need to do is call on the experts at Vomela.

We're here to help you get the exact visuals you need for your business, from concept to creation to completion.
