A Look Back at Our Favorite Projects in 2023

It’s December, which means the year is almost over. We feel like it flew by! We’re thankful for all of our partners and clients that made it a great year. We’d like to take this chance to look back at some of our favorite projects from 2023.

Specialty cannabis packaging for Bowhouse

Our Commercial Group in Michigan specializes in the cannabis industry, and the team at Bowhouse trusted us to create brilliant packaging to fit their branding. The key to making these packages really stand out was playing with specialty print techniques to give the boxes different textures, like a reticulating varnish. A one-of-a-kind wrap for the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority E-Bus

Our brand out of Maplewood, MN, Visual Impact, worked on a first-of-its-kind project this year with long-time customer Minnesota Valley Transit Authority. For MVTA’s new trial run for their on-demand ride service, they added the nation’s first short-haul E-bus to their fleet and asked us to wrap it. There was a tight turnaround time, but we were able to provide the design, printing, and installation for the new wrap. The graphics feature an electric plug, that appears to “plug in” to an electrical socket when the bus doors close.

New trailer graphics to celebrate UNFI’s mission

Our Transportation Group works with UNFI on an ongoing basis to communicate brand messages while their fleets are on the road. Recently, UNFI has been working with us to spread the word about their efforts to make the future of food more sustainable. Their trucks feature messaging and graphics that share their goals and how they’re reaching them.

Themed graphics for a new RV travel trailer

Our OEM team in St Paul, MN was asked to created these Toy Story themed trailer graphics for a customer's Forest River Solaire RV travel trailer. The finished product is filled with nostalgia and childhood fun that will last through many camping seasons.

Barbie Photo Ops at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas

Even we got in on the Barbie fun this year! Our C2 Imaging team rolled out these pop-up shops at Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas to celebrate the Barbie movie premiere. Guests were able to purchase merchandise to commemorate the megahit movie from these brightly colored standees. We also created a cardboard cutout of Barbie that only grounds with a pair of high heels! The photo opportunities were endless.

Large scale event graphics for the New York City Marathon

Our Utah based brand, Fusion Imaging, really runs the race with their event graphics. Every year they provide signage for the New York City Marathon, including the most recent run. Check out these inspiring statements and graphics. The message is clear: It will move you!

3D signage for Sterling Vineyards

Check out these massive map “pin drops” that our Vomela Saint Paul team created for an event at Sterling Vineyards. There was a total of four 3D figures that were custom fabricated to mark where solar panels would be installed in the future. Each one had a plaque affixed to the front with a narrative and QR code to engage with attendees in multiple ways. What a fun way to share your company updates!

Giving back to the community with St. Vincent de Paul of Indy

Our team at Pratt Visual Solutions is passionate about giving back to the community, which is why we want to feature their work with St. Vincent de Paul of Indy. They were expanding the services they offered and expanding to a new location. We provided wall graphics and outdoor signage for their new facility, offering our installation services free of charge. The design had a heavy focus on being welcoming and inviting to all.

Colorful graphics for Amazon Hub Lockers

CIS is one of our brands that specializes in large-scale rollouts and taking a brand’s identity nationwide. One of their more colorful projects this year was done for Amazon and their hub lockers, where customers can designate to pick up their packages. We used vinyl wraps on the metal lockers to feature a fun, back-to-school design featuring Play-Doh.
