# A Road Map for Safe School Returns

When it comes to the safe return of our students, teachers, and staff, there is no such thing as too much communication. Effective signage lets students and faculty know that their safety is important and to be taken seriously while at the same time promoting social distancing and proper use of PPE.
First, there are several essential informational pieces you’ll want in place before students and faculty return:
1. ##### Floor graphics - Create fun and informative reminders that are durable enough to withstand heavy traffic.
2. ##### Window graphics - Promote school spirit while welcoming students back to school.
3. ##### Signage/wall graphics - Display important information on new safety practices.
When considering social distancing interior floor graphics, remember:
- Grab students' attention with high contrast graphics
- Effectively manage crowds
- Provide navigation in the hallways
- Use school colors to boost morale
Exterior Floor graphics should provide clear, concise messaging, be easily removable, and be slip resistant.
- Encourage social distancing

- Create reminders to wear PPE properly
