The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has featured The Vomela Companies' new construction St. Paul headquarters in the most recent edition of Cool Offices.
The LEED compliant building holds an open floor plan of environmentally controlled production space, collaboration and training spaces, conference areas, and a product showroom. The combination of four production areas into one will create a more efficient workflow, allowing for even better customer service and employee cross training. It has also allowed Vomela to give back to the local community by hosting charitable events.
“This shows our commitment to the business and our financial stability,” said President & CEO Mark Auth. “We are going to be around for a long time and plan to keep investing in this business.”
The move to 845 Minnehaha Ave East marks the combination of four Minnesota printing facilities into a single building, containing 252,000 ft² of production space and 47,500 ft² of office space. The building is also home to the largest rooftop solar array in St. Paul. The project consists of 3,400 panels which will offset roughly 2.4 million pounds of CO2, the equivalent of planting 48,000 trees.
With room to grow, The Vomela Companies are in a great position to continue our dedication to quality and to serving employees and customers alike. We'll be transforming ideas into memorable experience for many years to come.
